Edward Grigassy

      Guitar Instructor

Edward Grigassy has taught students of different ages and skill levels since 1990.
In addition to being able to teach individuals one-on-one, he regularly teaches guitar classes of up to 33 guitar students per class.
He has presented lectures, informances (lecture-performances), and workshops to various guitar societies and groups of guitar aficionados and students.
He also has lead discussions and forums on several topics including music careers, guitar education and arranging for the instrument.

Some of the presentations Mr. Grigassy teaches:
Each presentation lasts 45 minutes - 2 hours
Presentation materials provided to attendees
Musical examples performed live
Workshops involve all attendees and their instruments

Currently Mr. Grigassy teaches more than 100 students per day at Bellaire High School in Houston, and recently was the guitar instructor at College of the Mainland in Texas City, Texas.

His students have achieved success in many areas. Many beginners have improved quickly, moving from no musical training or background to performing for others in six months time. In 2000 one of Mr. Grigassy's students won first prize in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition for private high schools.

Mr. Grigassy teaches private, individual lessons at his studio in Bellaire. Students must bring a nylon-stringed guitar.

The lessons are fun and structured around the student's ability and interests. To talk about scheduling a lesson, please call Edward Grigassy at:
